Why Storytelling Is The Best Way To Learn And Remember New Information

Introduction

Ridhhaan Jaiin is a 9-year-old young storyteller who has been writing and publishing stories since he was 6. His latest published work is "Penny and the Monsters", an illustrated book in horror comedy genre.

The book "Penny and The Monster" is a story of a girl named Penny who moves to a new house and slowly discovers there are monsters in the house. It’s a combination of horror with a touch of humor and has a moral "how one can overcome their fear." "Penny and the Monsters" is the fourth book in the short moral story series by Ridhhaan Jaiin. The first book "Once Upon In My Mind" is an anthology of 10 short moral stories and received lots of love from his friends, teachers and other readers. His second book "The Mirror and The Greedy Man" is very close to his heart as it gives a message that we should value everything and every being around us, misusing will only make you lose what you earned. The third book "The Despicable Virus" is inspired from the pandemic and is narrated from the perspective of the virus. This story concludes a moral how bad influence can negatively impact on yourself and surrounding.

When asked why he thinks storytelling is the best way to learn and remember new information, Ridhhaan said:

"When you hear a story, you can picture it in your head. It's like you're living it yourself. That way, you remember it better. And it's more fun too!"

Ridhhaan's words are very wise and inspire us to look at learning in a new way. It is true that when we hear a story, we are more likely to remember it than if we just read it in a textbook. And isn't it more fun to hear a story than to read a list of facts?

Ridhhaan is just one of many young people who are using their talents to change the world at RidhzWorld Publishing.
